Select one of the options below to reset your Wartburg password.
OPTION 1:
To Change your password:
1. Sign in to Office 365 with your Wartburg account.
2. Go to Settings (Gear icon at top right hand corner)> Office 365 settings > Password> Change password.
3. Type your old password, and then type a new password and confirm it.
4. Click Submit.
OPTION 2:
To Change your password:
1. Open the Microsoft Reset Password page (https://account.live.com/ResetPassword.aspx).
2. Enter your User ID (Wartburg email address) > Enter characters in the picture > click Next.
3. Select one of the Verification options on left and follow instructions on the right.
4. Select a second Verification option on left and follow instructions on the right.
5. Enter new password > Confirm new password.
Password Requirements The new password requirements will be:
• Expire in 365 days
• Minimum of 15 characters
• Passwords cannot be reused
• Passwords are case sensitive
• A combination of alphabetic, numeric, and special characters is recommended, but not required.
In this process, please remember that Wartburg will never ask you for your account information and you should never send out your username and password to anyone. Also, we do not track and cannot see your password. If you are on a computer that is joined to the Wartburg Domain you will need to log out then back in with your new password.
**NOTE: When you change your password for your Wartburg account, be sure to update the password on your phone and desktop email program to match the new password for your account.
