As a student currently enrolled at Wartburg College, you are eligible to receive Office 365 ProPlus for PC’s, Office for Mac 2016, Office 365 for iPad, Office Mobile for iPhone, or Office Mobile for Android at no cost. Each student is allowed to install on up to 5 devices + mobile apps.

Office 365 ProPlus can run side-by side with older versions of Office. These installs from the portal are installed locally on your computer. It is not the web- based version of Office. This means you do not need to be connected to the internet at all times to use it. System requirements are no different.

You will have full access to Office 365 ProPlus as long as you are a current student. When you graduate or cease your enrollment, your subscription to Wartburg’s Office 365 will be cancelled. When this happens, your installation of Office 365 will go into a reduced functionality mode. In reduced functionality mode, users can open and view existing Office files, but users can’t use most of the other features of Office 365 ProPlus. Prior to graduation, it is recommended that you acquire Office 365 University to continue use of the Microsoft Office 365 applications. Office 365 University is a retail copy which is available at The Wartburg Store and retail outlets.

Office 365 ProPlus will also go into reduced functionality mode if you have not connected your computer to the internet for 30 days. Office 365 ProPlus checks once every 30 days for compliance. If your installation has gone into reduced functionality mode because of this, once you connect to the internet and your subscription status is verified, all the features of Office 365 ProPlus are available again.

Office 365 ProPlus is not compatible on Chrome Books.
