Connecting to campus via VPN

How to use the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client to connect to the Wartburg Network. 

Important: Only start the Cisco AnyConnect Client when you are NOT on the Wartburg network. If you are on the Wartburg network, you will NOT reach the VPN gateway. 

Step One: 

Open a web browser. Type: https://wcvpn.wartburg.edu into the address bar and press <enter> 

Step Two:

Log in using your network credentials:

Step Three: 

Click on Continue.

Step Four: 

Download the client for the Operating System that you use. In this example, it is for Windows.

Step Five:

Double Click on the file to launch install package.

Step Six: 

Click Next to begin setup wizard to install Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on your computer.

Step Seven:

Click on Install to install to begin the installation.

Step Eight: 

Accept the terms in the License Agreement. Then click on Next.

Step Nine: 

Click on Yes to allow this app to make changes to your device.

Step Ten: 

Click Finish to exit the setup wizard.

Step Eleven: 

After installation, do a search on your Programs for Cisco AnyConnect Mobility Client.

The icon will look like this:

Step Twelve: 

Launch the application.

Step Thirteen:

Enter wcvpn.wartburg.edu into the box below.

Step Fourteen: 

Enter your network credentials, username and password.

Step Fifteen: 

Click Accept.

You connected to the Wartburg College VPN.
